A Dark Mountain Conversation with…

Paul Kingsnorth &
Dougald Hine

Lorraine Mariner

Dark Mountain – a conversation:
Fresh from the success of their sell-out Uncivilisation festival last summer renowned writers Dougald Hine and Paul Kingsnorth offer provocative, fascinating and inspiring words and poetry from their Dark Mountain project.

“Dark Mountain Issue 2 is one of the most unique environmental books out there – part dystopian poetry along the lines of Cormac McCarthy’s The Road; part post-apocalyptic River Cottage with the rest being a slice of philosophy that only ever becomes clear once the reader immerses themselves in the works within.” – Mark Newton, Ecologist Magazine

"The Absurd has been a clear highlight in my performance career thus far. A great night - really about the intensity and reality of the very theatre of performance. A very rare treat I can tell you."
