Yes, 'tis true...
theAbsurd have decided to
move to pastures new
move to pastures new
We would like to say a great big thank you to Martine at Y Delyn Wine Bar as we’ve had some of the most amazing gigs there.
HOWEVER - we have outgrown the upstairs room, and feel that it’s time to move to a slightly bigger venue. So it is with great excitement and anticipation that we move to Y Pentan – yes it’s still in Mold!
Visit the website here to get a good look at this fantastic venue. We’re really pleased with the new space, which even boasts a small stage, and we feel that this will allow theAbsurd to continue growing to suit our audience (yes that’s you guys) whilst still keeping the intimate setting that makes our nights so special.
Landlord Richard will also be putting on some great menu deals for the events so you can fill up with fantastic local produce along with your favourite wines!
Don’t miss the next Absurd event at
Y Pentan, 3 New Street, Mold, CH71NY

“Poetry that slices like a razor.” – Mandy Coe.
“A marvellous poet.” – Pete McGovern.
“Spot on.” – Roger McGough.
